It was another Glasgow Derby and another win for Celtic. The Hoops have now won four of their five games with the Rangers this season, drawing the other one. And this result booked their place in the final of the Scottish Cup, meaning that the treble is very much on. The League Cup is already in the bag while Ange Postecoglou’s side need just one more win to clinch the Premiership as well.

The result was of course a major blow for Michael Beale’s team. They now seem to be headed for a trophyless season and questions are already being raised about the manager, and understandably so.

During the time of Beale as manager, the Rangers have taken part in four Glasgow Derbies. They have lost three of them, and their best performance was in the first of those, drawing 2-2 at Ibrox.

Ahead of the Glasgow Derby, there are always strong and positive comments coming out of the Ibrox camp. None of them have converted into a win till now this season though.

Coming out of the Glasgow Derby, Lundstram insisted that the Rangers believe they can defeat Celtic. As reported by the Daily Record, he said:

"“Yeah there’s a belief there. You seen out there that there was a belief. We were the better team for large spells of the game.“We had one cleared off the line, hit the post, missed an open goal with Fash [Sakala]. So the belief is there but it’s just the fine margins.”"

Chris Sutton retweeted the article accompanied by his own tweet saying:

"“I thought they’d at least wait until Tuesday…”"

There is still one Glasgow Derby left this season, in the Premiership. The result of that game is not expected to have much of an effect on the title race though. On the contrary, it is very possible that Celtic might already be champions on the day that they take to the Ibrox pitch in May.

Of course, Postecoglou’s team will not go there looking for a guard of honour. Instead, their eyes must be on the three points. It would be very sweet to finish the campaign unbeaten against the Rangers.
