Celtic took a major step towards a treble with a 1-0 win over the Rangers to book their place in the final of the Scottish Cup. The Hoops have already won the League Cup this season, while the Premiership triumph only seems a matter of time as well. Ange Postecoglou’s side need one more win to be crowned champions of Scotland again.

It was Jota who scored the winner on the day. The Portuguese winger cropped up with another Glasgow Derby goal, this time a header. Daizen Maeda deserves the world of credit as well. The Japanese star showed his awareness when the entire Rangers defence had switched off around him and then set it up on a plate with a delightful cross.

Down south, Liverpool got themselves a big win as well. The Reds won 4-3 against Tottenham Hotspur in a thrilling game of football.

Tottenham Hotspur came from three goals down to equalise in the 93rd minute, only for Liverpool to win it in the 94th. Interestingly, it was Diogo Jota who scored the winner for Liverpool.

Celtic fans delighted with Andy Robertson’s latest post

It is no secret that Robertson grew up as a Celtic supporter. And a post from the Scottish international caught the eye of the fans.

Robertson posted a picture on Instagram of himself along with his Liverpool teammates accompanied by the caption ‘Jota Sundays’.

Of course, Hoops fans were quick to take notice of the post and interpreted it as a nod to both his teammate, as well as Celtic’s superstar from Portugal. It does feel like a subtle caption on the part of the Liverpool star.

At the end of the day, Robertson was part of the Celtic youth system but never played for the senior side. He is definitely one who got away for the Hoops.
