Celtic blow confirmed from match against Rangers
Celtic supporters will be over the moon today, having seen their side get a 1-0 win over the Rangers in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup. A header from Jota, after some great work from Daizen Maeda, proved to be the difference between the two teams on the day, as the Hoops continued their dominance over the Glasgow Derby.
The result means that Celtic are in touching distance of winning a treble. They need to win just one game out of the next five to be crowned Premiership champions. And of course, they need to come out victorious in the Scottish Cup final as well.
Thus, the mood will be brilliant around Parkhead at this point of time. But at the same time, not everything was positive coming out of the game against the Rangers.
One worry from the day was the injury suffered by Alistair Johnston. The right-back was forced off the pitch in the 54th minute of the game, and replaced by Anthony Ralston, who did a good job after coming on.

As reported by The Herald, Ange Postecoglou said about Johnston after the game:
"“It’s a sore one, obviously.“He wouldn’t have come off unless it was a significant one, but we’ll wait and see. He was throwing his crutches around at the end of the game, so we’ll see what he’s like tomorrow.”"
Johnston just does not seem like someone who would come off the pitch if it was not absolutely necessary. Thus, it will be interesting to see the extent of his injury. One can only hope that he is fit in time to feature in the Scottish Cup final.
He was seen on crutches after the game against the Rangers, with his foot in a protective boot. He did take part in the celebrations with the fans though, which is a positive sign.
It is a credit to Johnston that he arrived in January and quickly became an undroppable for Celtic. He has been superb since the beginning of his time at Parkhead and filled the big boots left behind by Josip Juranovic expertly.
