Celtic have been exceptional in recent years when it comes to their scouting and recruitment. The club have been successful in pulling off one transfer masterstroke after another, and that has been one of the biggest reasons behind their achievements under the management of Ange Postecoglou.

Of course, the brilliant performances of the players has seen them being linked with moves away from the club. That is the reality of the situation at Celtic. Fans will be accustomed to seeing their best players leave, and it is not a rare instance.

Kyogo Furuhashi has proven to be a brilliant player for Celtic, ever since joining the club in the summer of 2021 from Vissel Kobe. And lately, he has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with clubs like Crystal Palace and Southampton rumoured to be interested in the Japanese star.

As reported by Football Insider, Celtic are braced for Premier League bids for Kyogo this summer. The Hoops have no intention of letting him depart Parkhead for an offer less than £15 million.

To be very honest, even a £15 million transfer offer would be on the low end when you consider how good Kyogo has been for Celtic. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 29 goals and provided 5 assists in 43 appearances this season till now.

Thus, he is very important to this team. And fans will be hoping that he remains at Parkhead for the foreseeable future.

It remains to be seen how things turn out. On one hand, Kyogo is 28 years of age and does not have a lot of time on his hands, if he wants a big move elsewhere. On the other hand though, he has the chance to be a club legend, if he stays on at Celtic.
