The upcoming Glasgow Derby at Hampden Park is very important for both Celtic and the Rangers. On one hand, it is a chance for the Hoops to take another step towards a potential treble this season, having already won the League Cup and a Premiership triumph also looking inevitable. On the other hand, it is the last chance for Michael Beale’s side to stop their rivals and remain in contention for silverware.

Thus, both sides would be expected to give it their all at the weekend. Celtic have not lost a Glasgow Derby in the ongoing campaign till now and will hopefully keep that run going.

There is some good news for the club heading into the big game though. The two big injury concerns for the match are Jota and Reo Hatate. But it looks like both are back in training.

Celtic posted pictures of the duo in training on Twitter:

Celtic would be delighted with the latest update from training

It would be safe to say that the fans will be absolutely delighted to see both Hatate and Jota back in training ahead of the Glasgow Derby against the Rangers. Both of them are key players for the Hoops.

And without them in the team, Celtic have not looked at their best in their recent games. As a result, it will be great to have them involved.

Of course, just because they are training does not mean that they will be fit to start against the Rangers. But one can hope that they are at least involved.

Another player who has been out for a while is Liel Abada. The Israeli international has been pictured in training recently as well though and thus, he could have a part to play at Hampden Park this weekend too. Overall, things are looking up for the Hoops.
