There is no stopping Kyogo Furuhashi at the moment. After his brace against the Rangers, he got on the scoresheet this weekend as well, as he found the back of the net against Kilmarnock away at Rugby Park in a 4-1 win for Celtic. The Japanese forward could have scored his 30th goal of the campaign, if he had not missed his spot kick.

Celtic fans will have no complaints about Kyogo though. He has been superb ever since arriving from Vissel Kobe in the summer of 2021.

He is probably the best signing that the club have made under the management of Ange Postecoglou. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kyogo has scored 29 goals and provided 5 assists in 42 appearances this season.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that Kyogo has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent times, considering the form that he has been in over the past couple of campaigns. He is not expected to get the love and affection down south, that he does at Celtic though.

Insider sends clear Celtic message to Kyogo amid Premier League rumours

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, transfer insider Dean Jones said:

"“He’ll have to consider strongly if he was to make a transfer if it can live up to what he’s living in the here and now. He gets a lot of praise for his movement; he honestly is a delight to watch and he could play for a Premier League team, but I’m just not sure that at any of those Premier League teams he’s going to get the same love and adoration that he gets at Celtic.”"

Celtic fans absolutely adore Kyogo to say the very least. And it is clear that he is enjoying life at Parkhead as well. Just watch him at one of the post-match celebrations.

At the same time though, players have goals and always are on the lookout for the next challenge. If an offer came in from the Premier League for Kyogo, one would expect him to consider it.

At the end of the day, there are pros and cons to every transfer and Kyogo would have to consider them if an offer arrived. If he did stay at Celtic for some more years, he has the opportunity to be a club legend.
