The dust on Celtic’s 3-2 win over the Rangers last weekend has barely settled. After all, the result did send them twelve points clear at the top of the Premiership table, with just seven more league fixtures left to be played. Thus, it does feel like Ange Postecoglou’s side are heavy favourites to go on and lift the trophy from here.

There is little time to reflect and rest though. Celtic have another important game coming up this weekend, away against Kilmarnock. And the next Glasgow Derby is not too far away either.

In fact, it might be the most important game remaining for both Glasgow giants this season, as they will face each other in the Scottish Cup semi-finals. For Celtic, this seems to be a chance at winning a treble. While for the Rangers, this might be their last opportunity to stop the Hoops from doing so while winning some silverware themselves.

Thus, it goes without saying that the upcoming Glasgow Derby is very, very important. And the Green Brigade have made an announcement regarding the game.

Green Brigade make announcement for Celtic vs Rangers Scottish Cup semi-final

In an announcement posted on the North Curve Celtic’s Twitter, the Green Brigade asked the Celtic fans to wear the green and white hoops to the Scottish Cup semi-finals. They were also asked to carry scarves, flags and banners as well. There will be no organised tifo on the day.

It is clear that the aim is to make it a sea of green and white to motivate the players on the big day. And one can expect the Celtic fans to deliver for sure.

The Hoops were not at the best in the recent Glasgow Derby even though they were good enough to get the win at Parkhead. Hopefully we will see a better performance at Hampden Park from the Bhoys.
