A number of Celtic players are being linked with moves away from Parkhead in the summer. It is not hard to understand why either as they have been in great form and are still in contention to help the club win a treble. The Hoops must make sure that they hold onto the majority of their stars though.

One of the players who has been linked with a move away time after time in recent months is Liel Abada. The Israeli international has been a key player for Celtic since arriving in the summer of 2021 as a teenager.

It is worth pointing out though that he has not started games often this season as he finds himself behind the likes of Jota and Daizen Maeda in the pecking order. Could he end up leaving in the summer in search of regular playing time? Only time shall tell.

Abada has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent times, with more than one club believed to be interested in him. But Frank McAvennie has tipped him to make a move to Germany if he does leave Celtic in the summer. As reported by Football Insider, he said:

"“If he is not signing a contract he will go abroad, Germany or somewhere like that.“There are a lot of places to go and learn and he needs to go somewhere he can learn more.“He either does it off Ange or he will do it off one of the coaches in Germany I think.“"

To be honest, if Abada does end up leaving Celtic in the summer, then Germany might be the perfect place for him to develop his game. We have seen several young players do brilliantly in the Bundesliga in recent years.

Someone like Abada might not be ready for the Premier League yet. He would be expected to get plenty of chances at the right Bundesliga club though.

Abada has been an important part of this Celtic team. Even if he is not a starter, his contributions off the bench have been vital. Thus, if he did end up leaving, it would be a blow for sure.
