In the future, we might look back at the recent Glasgow Derby as the day when Celtic won themselves the league. A brace from Kyogo Furuhashi and a goal from Jota was enough to seal all three points for the Hoops. James Tavernier scored twice for the visitors but it was all for nothing at the end of the day.

It goes without saying that the Rangers supporters were not happy after losing another Glasgow Derby. They have not won one this season at this point, and have been pretty much dominated in the fixture since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as the manager of the Hoops.

One player in particular who did not impress the Rangers supporters is Ryan Kent. Once hyped up by the Ibrox fans as the biggest talent in Scottish football, it is safe to say that their thoughts have undergone change in recent times.

And they were happy enough to let their feelings be known on social media and several Rangers fans gave their take on Kent after the Glasgow Derby on Twitter:

Kent might have had a good 2020/21 campaign but he has struggled to match those levels since then. Also his current deal runs out at the end of the campaign. Thus, it is very possible that he could walk out as a free agent in the summer. A player that the Rangers were believed to have signed from Liverpool for a transfer fee around €7 million.

Of course, Celtic fans will not be too worried about what the future holds for Kent. Their main concern right now is getting over the line in the league. They are twelve points ahead with seven games to go.

A potential treble is still on the table as well. Celtic will be facing the Rangers again, this time in the semis of the Scottish Cup.
