Celtic are marching towards another Premiership title as they sit twelve points clear of the Rangers with just seven games to be played. They have already won the League Cup as well. And a potential treble is on the table, as Ange Postecoglou’s side will take on Michael Beale’s team in the semi final of the Scottish Cup soon.

It is safe to say that Celtic have been very successful during the time of Postecoglou as manager, when expectations were not very high to begin with. A lot of the credit goes to their incredible scouting and recruitment over the past couple of years.

One of the great signings that they have made recently was bringing in Matt O’Riley from MK Dons in January of last year. Since then, he has proven himself at Parkhead and has been linked with some of the biggest teams in Europe.

As reported by Football Insider, Celtic are expecting bids for O’Riley in the summer window. Both English Premier League and Championship clubs are believed to be keeping an eye on the youngster.

O’Riley has been a key player for Celtic over the past couple of seasons. One has to admit though that he has played a reduced role in the starting XI in recent months.

Aaron Mooy has done a wonderful job since arriving in the summer as well and both have had to share their first-team duties this season, with O’Riley playing a bit less than expected.

One has to wonder what kind of an effect that will have on the interest in signing O’Riley as well as a potential transfer fee. It is worth pointing out that in the past, he has been linked with clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.
