Celtic are looking to win their second straight Premiership title and are leading the league title race by nine points as things stand. One of the main reasons behind their success under the management of Ange Postecoglou has been their scouting and recruitment. The Hoops have been brilliant in that department, bringing in a number of players who have proven to be stars.

One of their recent signings is Oh Hyeon-gyu. Celtic brought in the South Korean striker in the January transfer window from Suwon Samsung Bluewings.

Till now, Oh has impressed even though he has been restricted to mostly making appearances off the bench. The striker has three goals to his name for the club.

German World Cup winner and current South Korean national team manager, Jurgen Klinsmann, is set to visit Scotland to watch Oh in action. As reported by the Daily Record, he is also set for a meeting with Postecoglou during his visit and a statement from the South Korean FA reads:

"“Coach Jurgen Klinsmann will go to Europe on April 14 to meet and watch the players.“His schedule will see him watch Son Heung-min for Tottenham Hotspur on the 15th, Oh Hyeon-gyu for Celtic on the 16th, Kim Min-jae for Napoli on the 18th.“Lee Jae-seong for Mainz on the 22nd and Jung Woo-young for Freiburg on the 23rd.”"

Postecoglou appears to be looking forward to meeting Klinsmann as well. As reported by The Scottish Sun, last week the Celtic boss said:

"“I believe Jurgen Klinsmann is planning a trip and I would be happy to see him. We are a very welcoming club for everyone.”"

Oh has already made a few appearances for the South Korean national team. And he will be looking to establish himself at that level.

For that to happen, it is important that he does well in Celtic colours as well. At the moment, he is behind Kyogo Furuhashi in the pecking order at Parkhead and it will take some doing to get ahead of the Japanese superstar anytime soon.

Oh is contributing to the team though. His physicality brings something different up front for the Hoops and that is why Postecoglou has been bringing him on as a substitute on a regular basis since his arrival.
