Celtic handed major boost ahead of Glasgow Derby
Celtic will be looking to get a win when they take to the Parkhead pitch this weekend against the Rangers. Such a result would send them twelve points clear at the top with just seven league games remaining and as a result, pretty much put the title race to bed as well. And the Hoops have been handed a boost ahead of the big game.
Earlier, there was some bad news for Celtic, as it looks like Reo Hatate is going to miss the game against the Rangers. On the other hand, there is a positive update on the fitness front of things as well.
Greg Taylor, who was another injury doubt heading into the Glasgow Derby, has been pictured in training. That is great news for the Hoops to say the very least.
Taylor had been forced off the pitch in the previous match, against Ross County, with an injury. But with him now back in training, one would be hoping that he has recovered and will start against the Rangers this weekend.

Taylor has undergone a transformation under the management of Ange Postecoglou. Early on in his Celtic career, he was just a squad player. But over the past couple of seasons, he has established himself as a nailed on starter for the Hoops.
Thus, Taylor being available to face the Rangers would be a major boost for Celtic. The club do have Alexandro Bernabei as his back up but the Argentine has not featured much since arriving in the summer. Thus, starting him in a game of this magnitude would be a risk for sure.
Of course, nothing is certain regarding the fitness status of Taylor yet even though he has been pictured in training. Let’s see if he starts against Rangers or not.
