Celtic still have a lot to play for this season. A potential treble is still on the table, with the Premiership and the Scottish Cup up for grabs. After that, there could be a very interesting summer transfer window for the Hoops. While they are expected to bring in fresh faces, it will also be important to keep hold of their most important players.

A number of Celtic players have stood out with their performances this season. And it should not come as a surprise that they are being linked with moves down south.

Amongst them is Kyogo, who has arguably been Celtic’s best player this season. The Japanese star has been even better than the previous campaign. Not only is he scoring goals, but important ones as well. And it looks like that has drawn the interest of a Premier League club.

As reported by Football Insider, Crystal Palace are plotting a summer move for Kyogo. It is believed that they have watched the Japanese star on several occasions.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kyogo has scored 26 goals and provided 5 assists in 40 appearances this season across all competitions.

Of course, that includes a match-winning brace against the Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final. And it is safe to say that Celtic cannot afford to let Kyogo go anytime soon.

At the same time, it is not hard to understand why he might have caught the eye of a club like Crystal Palace. And it remains to be seen if the Eagles end up making a move for the Japanese star or not. It was not too long ago that they signed Odsonne Edouard from Celtic. That has not quite worked out according to plan though, as the Frenchman has struggled in the Premier League till now.
