Celtic have made a number of signings over the past four transfer windows under the management of Ange Postecoglou. They have reaped the benefits on the pitch as well, winning three trophies during the course of that time and more could follow soon, as they are still in the running to win the league and the Scottish Cup this season.

It is important to be on the lookout for interesting opportunities in the transfer market, especially as it looks like there is interest in a number of Celtic’s players. Thus, the club might need to bring in new faces in the summer as well.

One Arsenal player could end up becoming a free agent in the summer, as his current contract runs out at the end of the season and he is yet to sign a new deal. And if it does run out, Celtic should definitely try to sign him.

That player is Reiss Nelson. The winger has made a positive impact for Arsenal whenever he has been given the chance to get on the pitch and yet, he has barely featured for Mikel Arteta’s team this season.

Nelson has never quite managed to find a place for himself at Arsenal. His record at the youth levels for the club is brilliant. He has spent positive loan spells out at clubs like Feyenoord and Hoffenheim in the past.

His numbers even this season are impressive. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Nelson has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 4 Premier League appearances and 102 minutes of football.

Thus, he is clearly a player capable of making an impact. And if someone like that is available on a free transfer, Celtic should definitely consider the opportunity. Especially with there being question marks over the future of Liel Abada.
