Celtic have been handed quite a few injury worries in recent times. The timing is terrible as the club head towards the business end of the season, with the Premiership and the Scottish Cup still up for grabs. The fans can only hope that the players recover in time to feature after the end of the international break.

One of the players who seems to be dealing with an issue at the moment is Liel Abada. He picked up a problem while away with his international team.

It had looked like it was nothing serious and he had gotten past the matter. But now, as reported by Sport 5, after feeling well he made another movement towards the ball and felt sensitivity again in the anterior thigh muscle.

Of course, that is not great news for Celtic. Abada is a key part of Ange Postecoglou’s team and the Hoops will be hoping to have him available in the upcoming matches.

A lot has been made about Abada in recent weeks. He has even been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Southampton believed to be interested in signing the youngster.

Abada has struggled for starts at Celtic. But he remains a regular contributor for the side and has been brought off the bench on numerous occasions. The Israeli international has proven himself as an impact substitute as well, with his goals and assists to change the course of a game of football.

Thus, one would be hoping that Abada is not dealing with a serious issue and that he is back to full fitness as soon as possible. But if he has to spend some time on the sidelines, the Hoops do have quite a few options in that area of the pitch and might be able to cover for his absence.
