Celtic have been excellent this season, losing just one domestic game till now. A number of their players have been on top form and have made a positive contribution to Ange Postecoglou’s side. As a result, it should come as no surprise to anyone that a number of them are being linked with moves away from Parkhead in the summer.

Celtic will surely be keen to hold onto most of them. But it will be interesting to see how things turn out if Premier League clubs come calling in the summer.

One player whose future is pretty much up in the air right now is Liel Abada. The Israeli international has featured on a regular basis for Celtic this season, but mostly off the bench, as he has failed to secure his place in the starting XI.

As reported by the Daily Mail (via Daily Record), talks over a new deal for Abada have failed. Southampton are eyeing a £10 million move for the Israeli international.

While the rumours with Southampton might be interesting, it is important to remember that they sit at the bottom of the Premier League. If they end up getting relegated, would they still make a move? Or would Abada be open to a move to the Championship? There are a lot of questions.

On the other hand, letting Abada go would be a blow for Celtic. While he might not be a starter for the club, he has still been a regular contributor for them since last season.

Over that period of time, he has proven that he is someone capable of making an impact and his ability to either score or assist, from the wing, is special. Abada is also just 21 years of age and has plenty of time to get even better at Parkhead.
