The rumours surrounding the future of Ange Postecoglou just never seem to go away. The Australian has enjoyed tremendous success during his time in Glasgow, already winning three trophies with Celtic and more possibly on the way this season, as the club sit nine points ahead of the Rangers in the Premiership table and are also in the semi finals of the Scottish Cup.

With that kind of success, it should come as no surprise that Postecoglou has caught the eye of clubs down south. The Australian has already been linked with the likes of Everton, Leeds United, Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolves.

Now, it looks like another club are keeping an eye on Postecoglou’s situation at Parkhead. It is none other than Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur could find themselves in search of a new manager soon, especially after a recent controversial interview from Antonio Conte. And it looks like Postecoglou is someone they have in their sights. As reported by FootballFanCast, journalist Gary Jacob said while speaking to beIN Sports:

"“Spurs are already looking at the managers. They are looking at various young up-and-coming managers. Perhaps the exception slightly being Ange at Celtic who’s slightly older, but all the managers they’re looking at are coaches.”"

Conte is currently in charge at Tottenham Hotspur. But it does not feel like the Italian will remain at the club for much longer.

Postecoglou has stayed put at Celtic despite all the rumours linking him with a move away from the club. But at the same time, one also has to recognise that he is in his late 50s right now and does not have a lot of time left on his hands to achieve all his targets as a manager.

As a result, if a club like Tottenham Hotspur did come calling, nobody would blame Postecoglou for giving the matter a thought. Of course, Celtic fans will be hoping that he remains at the club for as long as possible.
