As Celtic gets more success on the pitch, there is always the risk of the top players being swooped up in upcoming transfer windows. Lucrative new contracts, moves to glamourous clubs or others in the English Premier League, can all be attractive to players. But it looks like there are some players that the Hoops are just not ready to let go.

Celtic added to their League Cup triumph by progressing to the Scottish Cup semi final, where they will be facing the Rangers, and maintaining their nine-point lead in the Premiership. Thus, their dynamic team is definitely attracting interest from elsewhere.

The club have a number of players who have been on top form in recent times. And it should not come as a surprise that they are being linked with moves away. That is the life of a Celtic supporter. We have already seen two key stars in Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis leave earlier this year.

But as reported by Football Insider, Celtic are working hard to keep Kyogo, Liel Abada and Jota at Parkhead beyond this summer. They are expecting the trio to attract plenty of interest, but the club are preparing to adopt a firm stance and insist they are not up for transfer.

Jota is back in form again and made another great contribution in the Scottish Cup win over Hearts at Tynecastle Park. In the same match, Kyogo continued his run of goals with a back heel flick. There is a real possibility that he could hit the 35-goal mark in this campaign, if he continues on like this.

On the other hand, while Abada has not been a nailed on starter, he has made a contribution off the bench. And it is clear that Ange Postecoglou rates him highly.

It is a long way yet to the summer transfer window and lots may change but it looks as though the club’s intentions on these three stars are clear in any case.
