Ange Postecoglou has done a better job than anybody could have expected, when he arrived as the manager of Celtic. The Australian has already guided the Hoops to three trophies and more could be on the way, as the team are leading the Premiership by nine points and are in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup as well.

Considering how well Postecoglou has done since arriving at Celtic, it is no surprise that he is constantly linked with a move away from the club. The Australian has already seen himself being rumoured with moves to the likes of Everton, Wolves, Brighton & Hove Albion, Leeds United and a few others.

He has stayed put at Celtic till now though. Despite the fact that rumours continue to swirl about his future, with many believing that he could look towards the exit door in the summer.

If Postecoglou’s recent comments are anything to go by, it looks like he might be looking to stay at the club for a while longer. In an audio clip posted on the PLZ Soccer YouTube channel, the Celtic manager said:

"“Next year with European football, we’re going to require a stronger squad.”"

Thus, it looks like Postecoglou is already planning for European football with Celtic next season, despite the fact that he is being linked with a new move away from Parkhead almost every month. That is great news for the fans, who want to see him remain at the club for as long as possible.

Of course, things can change very quickly in football. If an offer arrived that was too good to turn down, then there is definitely a possibility that Postecoglou would consider it.

But overall, it does not look like he is planning on leaving Celtic anytime soon. He has already established them as the dominant team in Scottish football once again and seems to be looking to make a mark in Europe next.
