Celtic have a number of very talented players in the squad. It is not just the starting XI but also the depth beyond that, which makes things so difficult for the opposition teams. The Hoops have the ability to finish a game within the first 15 minutes or to change its course within the last 15, through substitutions.

One of their most effective players is without doubt Liel Abada. His numbers in the final third are terrific, as he has the instincts of a natural finisher in front of goal.

Abada is not a regular starter for Celtic though. He has most come off the bench this season. And while rumours had broken out earlier in the campaign, nothing has materialised yet in that regard, as it looks like the player did not want to extend his deal with the club.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Israel boss Alon Hazan said about Abada’s situation at Celtic:

"“He may not be playing as much as last season, but he is still playing.“Maybe his situation is because he didn’t want to extend his contract, but he is still in the squad and being rotated.”"

Abada may not be a regular starter for Celtic. But he has certainly been in and around the team and making a big contribution to their success.

This has led to him being linked with a move away from Parkhead as well. Premier League has been suggested as a potential destination and it remains to be seen what happens regarding that in the future.

For now, his focus must be on getting better and winning a place in the starting XI for Celtic, to take the next step in his career. He has all the talent in the world to be one of the best players in Scottish football. Getting into the team might be easier said than done though, with Daizen Maeda and Jota being the regular wingers at the moment, and both are key contributors.
