Celtic have a tremendous record under the management of Ange Postecoglou when it comes to signing players. The club have shown a brilliant eye for identifying those who are the right fit for their style of football. As a result, most new arrivals have not taken much time to adjust to their new surroundings and teammates.

While most of the additions have been made to the senior team, with the aim of them making an immediate impact, there have been some youngsters who have been brought in as well with an eye on the future.

And recent rumours suggest that Celtic have their eyes on another highly-rated youngster in the form of 17-year-old, Sean Moore, who currently plays for Cliftonville.

There are several other clubs believed to be interested in the wonderkid though. The likes of Newcastle United, Everton, Brighton & Hove Albion and QPR have also been linked with him, while it looks like West Ham United have made an offer as well. As reported by Belfast Live, Northern Ireland Under 17 and 19 manager Gerard Lyttle said:

"“Paddy came out in an interview last weekend and said Sean was going nowhere. He made it very clear.“I think there was an offer from West Ham around the £200,000 mark. I watched him last Saturday and it was probably one of his quieter games, yet he scored a goal and won a penalty.“So he had a real impact on the result.”"

West Ham United already made transfer offer for Celtic target

Moore turned 17 years of age just last August, but he has already established himself as a starter for Cliftonville.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Moore has made 26 appearances for the club till now, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists in the process of doing so.

Thus, there is no doubt that he could be a great long-term addition for Celtic, if they are able to sign him. But there is plenty of interest in the youngster, including from the Premier League.

He is just 17 years of age and would not be expected to come in and make an immediate impact on the team. But then, it is possible that he could turn out to be a player like Jeremie Frimpong, who is way ahead of where he is expected to be.
