Ange Postecoglou has done a tremendous job since becoming the Celtic manager. That has seen him being linked with several clubs down south already. Earlier on in the campaign, he was believed to be a candidate for teams like Brighton & Hove Albion, Wolves and Everton. Now, it appears that Leeds United might have an eye on the Australian, if rumours are accurate.

That is quite the change for Postecoglou. Around a year-and-a-half ago, there were serious doubts about whether he would ever get a chance to manage in Europe. And when Celtic brought him in, many questioned the decision to appoint someone who had no experience in European football.

His accomplishments at Celtic have certainly enhanced his reputation since then. And now, it looks like multiple Premier League clubs would consider him as a potential manager.

On the other hand, Celtic fans would be hoping that Postecoglou decides to stay put, even if Leeds United coming knocking on his door. And as reported by talkSPORT, chief football correspondent Alex Crook gave an update on the situation, as he told Breakfast:

"“He’s certainly attracting interest from clubs around Leeds at the bottom of the table. The vibe I’m getting is he doesn’t want to leave Celtic.“Would it be a step up? He’s done a great job over there, Champions League football next season would be a big draw.“I think he’d be a difficult one to get out of Celtic. He might cost a bit to get him out of Celtic too.”"

Thus, it looks like Postecoglou is more likely to stay on at Celtic than to leave, which would be music to the ears of the club’s supporters.

Postecoglou has done a better job than anybody could have expected when he arrived at Parkhead. The Hoops won a Premiership and League Cup double against all odds and expectations last season. This time around, they are in a great position as well, and could potentially match or improve the feat.

On the other hand, Leeds United just do not look like a good fit for Postecoglou at the moment. They find themselves in a relegation struggle for the second season running and are in search of their third manager in the course of 12 months.
