Celtic are on a brilliant run of form at the moment. Since their 2-2 draw against the Rangers away at Ibrox, they have won 7 straight games. During that period of time, they have scored 22 goals and conceded only once. Michael Beale’s side have been on a good run as well, but they have not been able to cut into the Hoops’ nine point lead till now. And with just 13 more league matches to go, that will become more difficult with every passing game.

Celtic’s latest win came in a tricky away game at McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone. The conditions were far from ideal but that did not stop Ange Postecoglou’s side from getting a 4-1 win.

Kyogo continued his incredible run of form, scoring one while forcing an own goal as well. Aaron Mooy found the back of the net too and he continues to grow in importance. David Turnbull scored as well and is making a case for more game time, after making a difference almost every time he comes off the bench.

Former Aston Villa player and current Sheffield Wednesday star, Barry Bannan, seems to have been impressed with what he saw from the Bhoys. He tweeted out:

Bannan has also played for clubs like Leeds United, Derby County, Crystal Palace and a few others, and represented the Scotland national team for quite some time as well.

It is worth remembering though, that he was part of Celtic’s youth ranks for a few years before moving to Aston Villa when he was 14 years of age. Since then, he has spent his entire career down south.

Coming back to Celtic though, it would not be a stretch to say that Postecoglou’s side are streets ahead at this point of time. They are the defending Premiership and Scottish League Cup champions, and there is a possibility that they could repeat the feat and perhaps go a step further this season.
