Celtic have a tough task on their hands next, as they travel away to St Johnstone, in hopes of grabbing their nine point lead back. With a win over Ross County, the Rangers were able to cut it down to six points, although they have played a game more. Now, it is up to Ange Postecoglou’s side to make sure that the gap remains as it has been for so many weeks.

Going away to McDiarmid Park and getting a result against St Johnstone is not the easiest task, and Celtic have faced their struggles there before. Thus, one can only hope that Postecoglou’s side will be on top form on the day.

Celtic have been brilliant in the league this season till now. Over the first 24 games, they have won 22, while losing and drawing one each. That is a fantastic record to say the least. In the previous campaign, they won the Premiership and Scottish League Cup double, against all odds and expectations.

Thus, Postecoglou has had a lot to be happy about. But the manager has also admitted that he has had his moments with the players. As reported by The Scotsman, the Australian said:

"“I’ve had my moments here, it’s fair to say!“People might be surprised because they might not have been at the most obvious times for some people. It’s not about getting angry or having a blast just for the sake of it. It’s about whether I feel something isn’t as it should be. Usually it’s around – not so much the game or results – but behaviours. If I see a behaviour that I don’t think fits in, I’ll make sure the player and the group knows about it. That’s my role. I can’t ignore it or let it go and be nice. That’s what everyone expects of me. If someone displays something that I don’t think fits in, I’ll have no hesitation in telling them it needs to be addressed.”"

It is hard to point out what moments that they might have been, because other than a few road bumps here and there, it has been smooth sailing for Celtic for a long time.

Of course, one would remember that the start under the management of Postecoglou had been difficult. They had lost three of their opening six league games last season and there were many calls for the Australian to be shown the exit door back then.

The turnaround has been extremely impressive to say the least and it will be interesting to see how far the manager is able to take this team.
