It looks like Celtic are pretty much done with incomings and deadline day could be more about outgoings instead. A deal for Giorgos Giakoumakis is still to be made official even though it is believed that he is on the verge of joining MLS side Atlanta United. On the other hand, there are some other players as well, who could depart, as their chances of getting first-team minutes at Parkhead look pretty slim.

One area that Celtic have plenty of options in right now is goalkeeper. Joe Hart’s signing might have raised a lot of eyebrows when it was made but since then, he has been a nailed on starter for the Hoops. On the other hand, they brought in Benjamin Siegrist in the summer, who has not gotten many opportunities despite being a very good shot-stopper himself. And the club also have Scott Bain.

Thus, it is hard to see Conor Hazard getting any playing time for the rest of the season, despite his promising spell away on loan at HJK Helsinki before this. So, the best path for him might be to leave once again.

As reported by the Daily Record, Ross County are looking to seal a loan deal for Hazard. Malky Mackay wants him at the club for the second half of the campaign.

Premiership rivals are eyeing late loan move for Celtic player

Ross County are currently looking to avoid relegation and find themselves near the bottom of the table. Thus, there is a good possibility that someone like Hazard could get first-team chances there.

His current deal with Celtic runs till the summer of 2024 and at this point of time, it looks unlikely that he will ever become the first-choice goalkeeper for the Hoops.

An impressive loan spell in the Premiership could potentially change that idea though. Let’s see if a move takes place or not.
