Celtic fans have a lot to be happy about at this point of time. The club are leading the Premiership title race by a commanding nine points over the Rangers. They are also in the final of the Scottish League Cup, where they will take on Michael Beale’s side. And there has been good news on the transfer side of things as well, with the Hoops signing Yuki Kobayashi, Alistair Johnston, Tomoki Iwata and Oh Hyeon-gyu in the January window.

There could be some more good news for Celtic in the future as well, as it looks like the future of Kieran Tierney at Arsenal is pretty much up in the air.

Tierney was considered as one of Arsenal’s key players and a future captain not too long ago. The situation has changed in recent times though, and at the moment, he is having to do with cameos off the bench and sometimes does not even get them. As a result, it is very possible that the former Celtic star could be on his way out of the London club in the not too distant future.

As reported by the Scottish Daily Express, James Benge told the House of Champions podcast:

"“There is growing expectation at Arsenal that Kieran Tierney could move in the summer. If the right offer came in, all the parties are thinking this is something that might happen.”"

Logically, it would make sense for both Arsenal and Tierney, for there to be a transfer exit in the summer, if the Scottish international is not going to be playing regular football in Mikel Arteta’s side.

The good news for Celtic is that they have a sell-on clause in Tierney’s deal and as a result, could be handed a significant cash boost if a transfer did take place.

He has been linked with big moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent times, but with how things have gone for him lately, it would be interesting to see if they are still on the table or not.
