Celtic came out of Ibrox with a 2-2 draw in order to maintain their nine point lead at the top of the Premiership table. It might not have been the result that the Hoops had been looking for, especially after having taken the lead early through Daizen Maeda and holding onto it until the break. But it was certainly an outcome that favoured them more than their Glasgow rivals.
One player who disappointed on the day though is Josip Juranovic. The Croatian had started on the bench but was brought on after Greg Taylor suffered an injury in the first half itself.
Unfortunately, Juranovic was not up to his usual standards on the day and appeared to be lost a bit. The fact that he has been constantly linked with a move away from Parkhead in recent days and weeks did not help matters either, with many fans believing that his head was not in the game.
Recently, rumours had broken out that Celtic had turned down a £13 million transfer bid from Chelsea for Juranovic. That seems to be off the mark though. As tweeted out by Mark Hendry:
Celtic have not had any approach from #Chelsea for Josip Juranovic. Reports of a £13m bid is wide of the mark.

There has been interest from Italy but nothing from Stamford Bridge, at least not yet.
Celtic transfer rumour appears to be wide of the mark
There have been rumours of Chelsea being interested in Juranovic and it is not hard to see why that might be the case, with Reece James struggling badly with injuries.
But at the same time, it looks like that the Blues have not made an official offer to sign the Croatian from Celtic yet. Of course, they are not the only club being linked with him.
The likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, AS Roma, Torino and several others are rumoured to hold an interest in Juranovic. On the other hand, there have been suggestions that Celtic won’t let him leave for a transfer fee lower than £17 million.
