After enjoying a legendary career at Celtic, Scott Brown is now taking his first steps in management as well with English League One side, Fleetwood Town. Broony could have taken a easier path by staying in Scotland but he has never been one for the easy road, and let’s see how things go for him down South.

Fleetwood Town finished the previous campaign in 20th but find themselves sitting at 15th in the League One table this season, with Brown now the man in the dug out. They’ve made their way to the 3rd round of the FA Cup as well, where they will take on QPR.

And it looks like Brown could look towards his former side in the near future, in order to strengthen his Fleetwood Town squad.

As reported by the Daily Record, a reunion with Brown at Fleetwood Town is possible for Scott Robertson, who is expected to leave Celtic next month. St Mirren are a potential option as well.

Brown has eyes on Celtic midfielder set to leave in January

Robertson is 21 years of age and has enjoyed loan spells at Gillingham, Doncaster Rovers and Crewe Alexandra till now. But he is yet to make his mark on the Celtic first-team.

This season, he has not played a single minute of football for the Hoops till now and it is pretty clear that he is not a major part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans.

Thus, a move away from Parkhead looks like the best step for all parties involved, and it remains to be seen where Robertson will eventually end up at.

While Robertson has made just one appearance at the senior level for Celtic through the course of his career, he has had some decent spells out on loan and could do a job at a club like Fleetwood Town.
