Josip Juranovic is going to be starting in a World Cup semi-final if things go according to plan. Yes, Celtic fans read that again if you want. Croatia knocked out Brazil from the World Cup on penalties to book their place in the final four of the competition, and there is a good chance they could end up winning it, considering how well they have been defending.

One of the biggest reasons behind that has been Juranovic, who has been out of this world in this tournament. Up against the likes of Vinicius Jr, Neymar and company, the Celtic star did not miss a heartbeat and produced a masterclass against Brazil.

It is safe to say that his transfer fee is going up by the minute, with Juranovic expected to be on his way out of Parkhead after the World Cup.

And his performance against Brazil was enough to blow away World Cup winner, Jurgen Klinsmann. As reported by The Scotsman, he said while being part of the BBC Match of the Day team:

"“He is basically telling Vinicius Jnr, ‘I’m in charge, I’m the boss here’.“It’s a whole mental approach. I’m going to go down the wing and I don’t care about you. You might be the best winger in the World Cup but I’m going to go and maybe I’m going to score.”"

World Cup winner makes brilliant claim about Celtic star as Croatia knock out Brazil from the World Cup

This has been a World Cup filled with surprises and Croatia knocking out Brazil has proven to be another one to add to the list.

What a performance it was from them to hang on against the heavy favourites, who many had tipped to win it all this time around and get their hands on their 6th World Cup title. But it should not come as a major surprise, as Croatia reached the final last time around.

On the other hand, Celtic now have to start asking themselves, if Calvin Bassey left the Rangers for a packing rising up to around £22.7 million, what should be the transfer fee for a starter in a World Cup semi-final?
