Most of the rumours surrounding Celtic recently have been about incomings, with the club being linked with the likes of Cho Gue-sung, Afsha, Aissa Laidouni and several others. But on the other hand, some players are expected to be on their way out of Parkhead as well, and the most likely in that regard seems to be Josip Juranovic.

Juranovic has been linked with a move away from Celtic since the summer itself and he has been linked with clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, West Ham United, Real Sociedad and others.

On the other hand, rumours have suggested that Celtic are now ready to listen to offers for Juranovic, after failing to agree on a contract extension with him.

Fabrizio Romano had already tweeted about Juranovic being on the radar of many clubs and now, he appears to have dropped another transfer tease, as he quote tweeted his last update on the Croatian saying:

"Keep an eye on Juranović in 2023, one from four days ago"

Juranovic has enjoyed a standout World Cup campaign with the Croatian national team and his performances would have only increased the interest in his signature.

It is safe to say the Celtic right-back has been superb in the tournament and the club could easily command a fee north of £10 million for him after the conclusion of the World Cup.

On the other hand, it does look like they have already brought in his replacement in the form of Alistair Johnston, who featured at the World Cup as well, for the Canada national team, and while they were knocked out from the group stages of the tournament itself, it was a decent performance for them nonetheless.

Juranovic leaving in the middle of the season would not be ideal but it is starting to seem inevitable. Let’s see what the future holds.
