Celtic have continued to strengthen their squad by bringing in Yuki Kobayashi and Alistair Johnston, and it does not look like they have any intentions of stopping just yet. The club have also been linked with players like Cho Gue-sung of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Mohamed Magdy Afsha of Al Ahly. But on the other hand, some players could be headed out of the Parkhead exit door as well.

The one who seems most likely to leave is Josip Juranovic. The Croatian was already linked with an exit in the summer but stayed put at Parkhead. Recent rumours have suggested though that the club have failed to agree terms over a contract extension and now, they are open to listening to offers for him, with his transfer value at its peak after the World Cup.

Clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, West Ham United and others have been linked with a potential move for Juranovic but it looks like Atletico Madrid might be very serious about signing the right-back as well.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Atletico Madrid are set to scout Juranovic in Croatia’s game against Brazil, as they eye a £10million-plus January move for the Celtic defender.

Juranovic has had a standout World Cup. He has been a nailed on starter at right-back for Croatia as they have been rock solid defensively.

The Croatian national team have kept two clean sheets till now and given away only two goals in their four games. Their big test will be coming up against Brazil though, who have looked fantastic themselves.

If Juranovic is to leave Celtic, the Hoops might as well get as big of a transfer fee as they possibly can. One has to remember they signed him from Legia Warsaw for a figure around £2.5 million.
