Celtic could do with another striker at the moment. Both Kyogo Furuhashi and Giorgos Giakoumakis are beloved figures at the club, but at the same time, one cannot deny the fact that both of them have not been on top of their games when it comes to finishing this season, with a lot of chances going to waste.

That has directly resulted in a number of matches being closer than they should be. The incredible spirit of this team has meant that Celtic have been able to get through and lead the league by nine points. But the Hoops would be smart to make sure that things are not always so close in the second half of the campaign.

In that regard, signing another striker might not be a bad idea. At the end of the day, perhaps going into the season with two was not a great idea in the first place.

One player that they should have their eyes on is Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal, who has struggled for playing time badly this season, after what had been a promising campaign last time around and had raised hopes that he could be on the verge of a breakthrough.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Nketiah scored 10 goals in just 1284 minutes of football for Arsenal last season.

But that has not resulted in an increase in playing time this season. In fact, with Gabriel Jesus arriving at the club and a Premier League title challenge on, his minutes on the pitch could actually decrease as the season progresses.

Thus, it might not be a bad idea for Arsenal to send him out on loan and Celtic might be the perfect place for him to develop, a side who play attacking style of football and where he will get plenty of chances to hit the back of the net.
