Celtic’s squad has undergone a remarkable transformation since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou as manager. The Australian has certainly come with his own ideas and they have worked out quite well for the Hoops, who have gone from finishing 25 points behind the Rangers to Premiership champions. This time around, they are leading the league by nine points after 15 games and the Ibrox club have already shown Giovanni van Bronckhorst the exit door.

Of course, Celtic still do not seem to be resting on their laurels and are looking to improve constantly. The recent signing of Yuki Kobayashi is proof of that. And rumours have broken out that they are getting close to signing Alistair Johnston from CF Montreal as well.

Most Celtic fans would have heard the name for the first time when he starred for Canada, as the Maple Leafs outplayed Belgium at the World Cup and were unlucky to lose against Kevin De Bruyne and company.

The fact that Johnston is closing in on a move to Celtic is the biggest hint though that Josip Juranovic is on his way out of the club after the World Cup.

Massive hint that Celtic first-team star will leave after the World Cup

Juranovic has already been linked with a Celtic exit in the past and rumours have suggested that the club are willing to let him leave after the World Cup, after failing to agree a contract extension with him.

Juranovic is a starter for the Croatia national team and that means that there is a good chance that his transfer value could be at its highest after the World Cup. He recently helped his team keep a clean sheet against Morocco in their group stage opener.

Juranovic has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid in the past and the Hoops can expect a transfer fee higher than £15 million for his exit.
