Celtic have been linked with a number of players in recent times even though they have the best squad in Scotland by some distance. The club have faced a few worries in recent times though, with one of them being their patchy form in front of goal. Their sheer will and determination has helped them grind out results, but Ange Postecoglou would surely want the games to less tighter than they have been in recent months.

Thus, Celtic could do with another option up front and one of the players that they were linked with in the summer could be on the move in January.

Robin Hack has made a tremendous start to the season with Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga second division, even though the club find themselves near the bottom of the table.

Hack has not closed the door on a possible January exit and admitted that if a move suited all parties, he would think about it. As reported by The Herald, he said:

"“Basically, I’m feeling extremely good at the moment and I am enjoying playing with my club.“Honestly,  I don’t want to leave yet, there’s no reason for that at all.“But if there was an option that would suit all sides, I would think about it.“Nevertheless: It’s been fun in Bielefeld lately.“Everyone wants to get the most out of their career and of course I want that too.“I want to play in a top league. That can either happen at Arminia Bielefeld or another club.“In the summer, there were one or two opportunities abroad, so we will see what happens in January.”"

In-form Celtic transfer target is open to potential January move

According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in 19 appearances in this campaign till now.

Those are not the kind of numbers that you would expect from a player who is playing for a club trying to stay up in the second division of German football.

The biggest asset that Hack possesses is his versatility. He can play on both wings, as an attacking midfielder and even as a forward if the situation calls for it.

We all know how highly Postecoglou rates that level of versatility. Now, it remains to be seen if Celtic revisit the idea of a move for Hack in January. The Hoops could certainly do with another consistent source of goals at the moment.
