No matter how Celtic’s season ends, there is very little doubt about the fact that Ange Postecoglou has assembled a special group of players here. It takes something more than just being good at football to win games when your backs are against the walls one time after another. We saw it against Hearts, against Dundee United and now, we have seen it against Ross County as well.
Make no mistake about it. Celtic have not been in top form right now. Injuries and fatigue have taken their toll, in what has been a relentless schedule for the Bhoys. But they have not stopped. Because they never stop.
It was another day, another questionable and extremely harsh penalty kick against Celtic. It saw them go a goal down. But deep down, every Celtic fan knew that this side could mount a comeback. In a similar situation, lesser teams would have crumbled.
David Turnbull and Sead Haksabanovic scored to make it 2-1 to Celtic and then the Bhoys held on for the three points. With the Rangers drawing their earlier game against St Mirren, Postecoglou’s side are now 9 points clear at the top of the table.
Rangers fans react to Celtic going 9 points clear at the top of the Premiership
It goes without saying that the Rangers fans were not happy with their own side’s draw and then Celtic going on to mount a comeback win:
The board were no doubt thinking County please hold on 😂😂 that’s how bad it is.

Never want them to win ever but it’s surely gonny result in a decision now hopefully. This just can’t continue.
We could all just copy and paste our tweets from last few games. Nothing is changing and nothing will unless we make changes.

It is safe to say that this is not what the Rangers fans would have hoped coming into the season. Unless we end up seeing a remarkable turnaround in the second half of the campaign, this could end up being a walk to the title for Postecoglou’s side.
Are they going to make a change now and bring in a different during the World Cup break? Let’s see. But for now, the Hoops are commandingly ahead.
