It has been 10 years since that magical night at Parkhead, when Celtic managed to defeat a legendary Barcelona side consisting of all-time greats likes Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Dani Alves, David Villa, Cesc Fabregas, Gerard Pique and more, by a 2-1 scoreline. Victor Wanyama put the Hoops ahead in the 21st minute and Tony Watt doubled the lead in the 83rd minute to send the stadium into a frenzy.

Messi would get a goal back from Barcelona in injury time but it was too late for the Catalan giants, and Celtic Park had witnessed one of its most famous European nights.

Clips from this game are still shared to this day and you might have seen the match stats also doing the rounds on social media.

We had the pleasure of talking to one of the scorers on the night, about that historic night, as Wanyama lifted the lid on the Celtic vs Barcelona game ten years later.
