Celtic left it late once again, as they have done so many times under the management of Ange Postecoglou. Just when it seems all hope is lost and they are going to drop points, they pull another rabbit out of the hat and come out with a win. And that was the case against Dundee United as well, with late goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada sealing the deal.
It is safe to say that the Rangers fans must have been celebrating when Dundee United managed to equalise in the 87th minute of the game, a goal that had been coming for a while to be very honest.
If the game ended in a draw, it would give the Rangers an opportunity to cut the gap to two points once again, when they travelled to St Johnstone this weekend. It was not to be though as Celtic ended up winning 4-2 instead, which means that they now lead by seven points having played a game more and the pressure is now on Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.
It goes without saying that the Rangers fans were not in great spirits after seeing Celtic turn a game around late once again. And they let it be known on Twitter:
That’s what they do I’m afraid, and that’s the difference between them and us.

We had 7 minutes against Livingston and didn’t go get that winner. They would’ve. https://t.co/MCRAGoEbOQ
Rangers fans meltdown after another late Celtic win as Kyogo and Abada score
It goes without saying that this is a huge result for Celtic and also goes on to show how much self belief this team has in itself at the moment.
This is not the first time that they have not given up on a game when it seemed that they were doomed for a defeat or a draw.
Postecoglou deserves immense credit for building up this kind of spirit in the players and of course, they do deserve applause themselves.
