It is safe to say that this is feeling like Celtic’s title race to lose already. At Ibrox, things seem to be falling apart. They have been historically bad in the Champions League this season and the fans do not seem to backing the manager either, with audible boos around the ground in recent games as both results and performances have failed to pick up.

Thus, while the gap between the two Glasgow giants might be just four points, and the Hoops have admittedly faced their own struggles lately, those are nothing compared to how badly things seem to be going for the Rangers right now.

One player who has struggled badly this season is Alfredo Morelos, and it looks like the club’s supporters are starting to lose patience with the Colombian.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Ally McCoist said on BT Sport regarding Morelos:

"“He looks off it to me. Let’s be honest, he’s been off the pace totally.“The only way (his shot) goes in is if the deflection it takes beats the goalkeeper.“I’m not sure it is a great pass from Scott Wright but he looks off it.”"

Celtic fans will be amused as Morelos struggles

It is safe to say that Morelos has always had his fair share of problems throughout his career. The biggest has been his discipline, with the Colombian having a well documented history of being sent off. Another one has been his record in the Glasgow Derby.

Yet, he has always had the backing of the Rangers fans though, simply because of the fact that he has scored a lot of goals in the past and on top of his game, he is a decent scorer to be honest.

But this season, he is yet to show any kind of form and seems to be completely off the pace, having scored just twice till now. It does feel like the Ibrox fans are finally starting to lose patience with him as well.

When it comes to those rumoured £20 million-plus transfer bids for him, one suspects they are not ever coming.
