Kenny Miller is one of the few players in history, who has played senior level football for both Celtic and the Rangers. In fact, he would even score for the Hoops in the Glasgow Derby, but will always be associated with the Ibrox club, where he had three separate stints and scored over a hundred goals for them.

Of course, he is now retired and a pundit of the Scottish game, and seemed to have been particularly impressed by a Celtic summer signing.

The player in question is Sead Haksabanovic. The player was signed from Rubin Kazan in the summer and had a tough time getting back to full fitness, as he did not have a pre-season. Now though, he seems to be up to speed or pretty close to it at least, and is starting to show what he is capable of.

His last couple of performances seem to have caught the eye of the former Rangers star. As reported by This is Futbol, Miller said about Haksabanovic on BBC Radio Scotland’s Scottish Football Podcast:

"“I mean, Hakšabanovic I thought has looked absolutely incredible over the last two games.“He’s setting up goals, he’s looking a goal threat.”"

Rangers hero has been impressed by Celtic summer signing’s displays

It is safe to say that Celtic fans have been impressed by the performances of Haksabanovic in recent weeks as well. He looks like a class apart at times.

His ability on the ball, eye for finding out a teammate in the box and just overall quality in multiple areas of the game just seem superb.

It looks like Ange Postecoglou has pulled off another transfer masterstroke here and it will be interesting to see if Haksabanovic is able to nail down a regular spot in the first-team soon. He is certainly performing at a very high level right now. But at the same time, Celtic have a lot of great players. The Montenegro international does have the ability to play in multiple positions though, which will help his chances immensely.
