Ange Postecoglou is a manager who has shown the ability to get the best out of players during his time at Celtic. The perfect example of this is Jota. During his youth career at Benfica, he was considered as one of the biggest talents in the game but never found his feet in senior football. That would change following his move to Parkhead, where he has established himself as a superstar.

Celtic could have the chance to sign a similar player next summer on a free transfer. Football fans with a keen memory will remember the name of Munir El Haddadi.

While coming through the youth ranks at Barcelona, he was viewed as someone who would go onto become a superstar in the game, and rub shoulders with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez in their first-team.

Well, that did not happen. El Haddadi was not bad but he never managed to fulfil his potential at Camp Nou. He has had a spell at Sevilla as well, but once again, while not bad, he did not match the high expectations that had surrounded him. Now, he finds himself at Getafe, where he is not a starter and his current deal ends next summer.

Could Postecoglou get the best out of someone like El Haddadi like he did with Jota? The talent has never been in question with him, but the execution has been lacking.

El Haddadi could be a solid addition though on a free transfer. He is still just 27 years of age and very much in the middle of his prime. He is also extremely versatile, capable of playing on either wing or up front. On top of that, he has high level experience, having played at clubs like Barcelona, Sevilla and Valencia.

Yes, he is a player who has not set the world on fire, but then, it would represent a low risk move for Celtic, for a player who would have a chip on his shoulder and know that this would pretty much be his last chance to show the world what he is capable of.
