The game between Celtic and Hearts came with its fair share of controversy. There were a number of decisions that did not go the Hoops’ way, including one that looked like a clear penalty. Ultimately though, Ange Postecoglou’s side persevered and managed to come out with a 4-3 victory, thanks to a 76th minute goal from Greg Taylor.

There was a late goal for the Rangers as well, but it was only good enough to salvage a 1-1 draw for the side against Livingston at Ibrox. The result meant that Celtic went four points clear at the top of the table.

Naturally, the Rangers supporters were not happy, and that has been the case for a while now, as neither the results nor the performances from Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side have managed to impress.

It seems that a lot of their fans would like the club to show Van Bronckhorst the exit door now, despite the fact that the Dutchman guided them to the Europa League final and the Scottish Cup last season, and let it be known on Twitter:

Rangers fans not happy with Van Bronckhorst as they fall four points behind Celtic in the title race

It is still October and nothing has been decided till now, or even close to, but judging by how things have gone, it does feel like it is Celtic’s title race to lose.

The Hoops themselves have not been great in recent times by any stretch of the imagination and at times have struggled both going forward and at the back.

But even in the tough games, they seem to have a quality to them that the Rangers seem to be lacking at this point of time. If things continue in this manner, the Ibrox side will have to show their manager the exit door sooner or later.
