In the previous batch of Celtic players, the consensus was that Odsonne Edouard would go on to achieve the most success after leaving the club. That has not been the case till now, with the Frenchman having an up and down time at Crystal Palace. Kristoffer Ajer has not been much of a success at Brentford either.
Ryan Christie might very well be playing the best out of the group of players who went down to England a year or so back. But the biggest success story has quite clearly been Jeremie Frimpong.
Frimpong has taken the Bundesliga by storm and has been one of the best young players in Germany, playing for Bayer Leverkusen. And he is drawing the interest of some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Manchester United.
As tweeted out by Florian Plettenberg, Frimpong is on the list of Manchester United, who want to transfer a high quality right-back in the winter or by the summer at the latest.
X News #Frimpong: Next to other players he is on the list of Manchester United! #MUFC wants to transfer a high quality right-back in winter. At the latest in summer. 21 y/o is a key player for Leverkusen, contract until 2025. Very interesting profile for Ten Hag. @SkySportDE 🇳🇱🇬đź‡

Former Celtic player linked with move to Manchester United
During his time at Celtic, there was no doubt that Frimpong was a great talent but there were big question marks over a number of areas of his game, mainly his ability to defend and his crossing.
He has certainly improved and worked on those areas, or perhaps the style of the Bundesliga has just fit him so well that his strengths are shining while his weaknesses have been hidden.
Whatever maybe the case, it is believed that Celtic allowed to let him join Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee around ÂŁ11 million. It would not be a surprise if they get a fee about five times that.
Manchester United have also recently been linked with a potential move for one of Celtic’s players in Matt O’Riley, who is also believed to be drawing the interest of other clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester City and Newcastle United.
