Kieran Tierney left Celtic to join Arsenal in the summer of 2019 in a Scottish record £25 million transfer move, which is yet to be broken even though transfer fees have sky rocketed in recent years. And it does feel like the Gunners would be happy with the investment that they made on the Scottish left-back.

While he has had his problems dealing with injuries, something that he had to struggle with at Celtic as well, when Tierney has been on the pitch, he has very often been one of Arsenal’s best players. As a result, he has drawn links with clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Arsenal seem to be finally back in the Premier League title race this time around, with Mikel Arteta’s side sitting at the top of the table. Of course, this is way too early in the season to say anything but the signs are good for the Gunners.

Tierney will have his fair share of experience when it comes to being involved in title challenges, as he won plenty of them during his time at Celtic. And as reported by the Daily Record, the Arsenal star said regarding the matter:

"“You want to stay (at the top) of course, I’ve got a bit of experience at Celtic when we were expected to be at the top and stay on the top as well, so it is familiar in that way for me that the pressure is on you to stay there. The other teams are chasing you, and we want to keep that going as long as we can.”"

Can Tierney repeat his Celtic heroics at Arsenal and guide them to the Premier League title?

While Liverpool seem to have fallen away in form this season, rather unexpectedly, but Arsenal still do have the mighty Manchester City in the race for the Premier League as well.

And Pep Guardiola’s side have Erling Haaland, a player who seems absolutely unstoppable at the moment and has left Premier League defences struggling to contend with him.

Thus, it will be very interesting to see how this Premier League title race goes and whether Tierney is able to use his experience from Celtic to get himself a winner’s medal or not.
