Celtic will be going into the game against Motherwell knowing that anything other than three points will send the alarm bells ringing. The Hoops have not won since that 4-0 display against the Rangers in the first Glasgow Derby of the campaign. They have been handed defeats by Real Madrid and St Mirren while they only managed a draw against Shakhtar Donetsk.

It is not often that Celtic are winless in three games and the fans are so calm, but that is the kind of trust that Ange Postecoglou has been able to build up in such a small span of time. This weekend though, they need to bounce back and get a result.

Celtic’s 2-0 defeat vs St Mirren has already allowed the Rangers to cut the lead down to two points and get back into the title race. Postecoglou’s side cannot afford to give the Ibrox side any more opportunities to exploit.

Fortunately, there is some good news for Celtic on the injury front. While the likes of Giorgos Giakoumakis, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt are set to miss the game against Motherwell, there are three others who have gotten the green light.

Postecoglou confirms triple injury boost for Celtic

As reported by Glasgow Times, Postecoglou has confirmed Daizen Maeda, Sead Haksabanovic and David Turnbull have all recovered from injuries.

Both Maeda and Haksabanovic had picked up injuries while with their respective national sides during the international break but thankfully, they do not seem to have been any long-term issues and they are back in the mix already.

On the other hand, Turnbull was sent back from the Scottish camp although it is believed that he had picked up his issue in the game against St Mirren.

Their availability is great news for Celtic and hopefully the others will be back to full fitness soon as well.
