Celtic have an incredible manager in place at the moment in the form of Ange Postecoglou. And the fans are just hoping that Premier League clubs do not end up making a swoop for the former Australian national team boss and try to lure him down south.

On the other hand, a former Celtic manager in Brendan Rodgers finds himself in a terrible position at the moment. After seven games, his Leicester City side just have a point to their name. And it is safe to say that the clock is ticking on him to turn things around.

Steven Gerrard found himself in a similar situation just a few weeks ago but his Aston Villa side seem to have found a second wind, drawing 1-1 with Manchester City and beating Southampton. Thus, Rodgers is in danger of beating his old Glasgow rival to the sack.

A lot of Leicester City fans certainly seem to have had enough and want Rodgers to be shown the exit door, as #RodgersOut trended on Twitter after the 6-2 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur:

Now, Rodgers has enjoyed quite a bit of success at Leicester City. He has managed them in Europe, guided them to an unlikely FA Cup triumph and even won the Community Shield. But it looks like his time at the club might end in disaster if things don’t change very quickly.

It is safe to say that the future is not looking bright for Rodgers at Leicester City, as it seems that he has no way of stopping this slide at the moment as the Foxes are placed firmly at the bottom of the table.

On the other hand, the recent results have certainly given Aston Villa some breathing room and Gerrard’s job might be safe for the time being.
