Kyogo Furuhashi has been Celtic’s best signing in a long time. He was the first player from Japan that Ange Postecoglou brought to the club, and he has been a superhit since his first start in the Hoops, playing an important part in the Premiership and League Cup double triumph last season and starting this one in fantastic fashion as well.

It might have been forgotten by now but Celtic had actually made a disastrous start under the management of Postecoglou and Kyogo played a huge part in getting them out of that early slump.

Of course, he has had his injury problems as well, but overall, he has been able to establish himself as a superstar at Celtic and one of the club’s most popular figures as well.

And it looks like Kyogo has fallen in love with the Hoops as well. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, while speaking about Celtic: The Musical in a press conference on the club’s official YouTube channel, Postecoglou said:

"“Everyone was there for a good time. It’s a great story anyway. It’s great for guys like Kyogo to be there. He’s fallen in love with this football club. He had Welshy sort of giving him the subtitles through it so I think he got the gist of most of it. It’s always great to be amongst our supporters. It’s well worth seeing.”"

It is safe to say that when it comes to Kyogo, the feeling of love is definitely mutual as the fans have taken to him like they have to very few players over the years.

And the Japanese international star has definitely been repaying the faith and love of the supporters with goals and great performances in the Hoops.

One can only hope that he will continue to perform like this for Celtic for years to come. Although at the rate that he is going at the moment, it might not be long before Premier League clubs come calling for his services. He has already been linked with a few teams down South although nothing has come of it till now. Hopefully, it will stay that way for the foreseeable future.
