Celtic announce double signing on three year deals
Celtic have already made significant additions to their senior squad this summer, although we are yet to see the new arrivals make much of an impact on the first-team. The only one who has been able to make his mark at Parkhead till now is Moritz Jenz, who is on loan from Lorient and if he continues to perform like this, he might have a long-term future at the club.
Others like Aaron Mooy, Alexandro Bernabei, Benjamin Siegrist, Oliver Abildgaard and Sead Haksabanovic, we are yet to see much of. Hopefully, most of them will grow into their surroundings and start making a contribution in Ange Postecoglou’s side soon.
With the summer transfer window now closed though, it looks like Celtic have now set their eyes on improving their youth and developmental ranks, and have announced a double signing.
As reported by the club’s official website, Celtic have today completed the signings of Justin Osagie and Francis Turley, with both players joining on three-year contracts. The former will go into the B team squad while the latter will play with the Under-18s.

Osagie is 17 years of age and a defender, who has been a part of the West Ham United youth set up in the past.
On the other hand, Turley is 16 years of age and a midfielder, who played for Northern Irish side, Glentoran, before his move to Celtic.
In recent years, Celtic have had a tough time when it comes to bringing through youth players into the first-team level. That is one area that they will need to improve in moving forward.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons for this, with the biggest being that Celtic’s best youngsters are often signed up by clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and others, before they can even make it into the first-team picture.
