As Celtic are set to make their long awaited return to the Champions League, Sergio Aguero is someone who has faced them in the competition before, during his time at Manchester City. And as a result, the Argentine will be very aware of what it is like to play at Parkhead on a big European night.

Celtic have some big European nights coming up this time around as well, as they have been drawn in the same group as Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk and RB Leipzig. It goes without saying that those are all difficult games, as every Champions League one is expected to be, but if Ange Postecoglou’s side are at the top of their game, they could get through to the next round.

Of course, it will need a Herculean effort from the side on the pitch and from the fans in the stands as well, to make sure that Parkhead is a place the opposition players find difficult to play at.

Aguero seems to believe that the home advantage could make Celtic even stronger. As reported by the Daily Record, he told stake.com:

"“We all know that Celtic is very strong at home and with a large fan base that will surely make the team even stronger.”"

It is safe to say that Celtic will need to make the most out of their home games, if they are to have any chance of making it through to the next round in the Champions League.

Of course, Real Madrid are the heavy favourites to top the group and most people have RB Leipzig down as the team to come second, but it would be a mistake to count Celtic out completely.

Unfortunately, Shakhtar Donetsk have their problems at the moment due to the global situation. On the other hand, RB Leipzig have endured a difficult start to their campaign as well. And if Postecoglou’s side can perform at their best, there is no reason that they could not qualify from this group.
