This has been a busy transfer window for Celtic for sure. The club were much more active than most fans would have thought, especially considering the fact that this was a team that had won the Premiership and the League Cup last season. Yet they have not been shy when it comes to making more additions to their squad.

The most important moves were signing Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers on permanent deals after their brilliant loan spells. On the other hand, new faces like Aaron Mooy, Alexandro Bernabei, Benjamin Siegrist and Sead Haksabanovic have been brought in permanently as well, while Moritz Jenz is on a season-long loan from Lorient with an option to buy included in the deal.

Stunningly though, there could be more to come from Celtic in this summer transfer window, even though the deadline is just days away.

As reported by the Daily Record, when asked about the chances of signing players or people moving on, Ange Postecoglou said:

"“There’s a possibility. There’s things working on in the background both in terms of outgoings and incomings. We might well do nothing and might do a couple of things but there’s still stuff going on in the background and we’ll all find out in the next 48 hours.”"

Postecoglou teases further Celtic moves in the summer transfer window

Postecoglou is generally someone who likes to keep his cards firmly close to his chest but on this occasion, the manager has dropped a bit of a teaser that we could be about to see more activity out of Celtic.

Now, it remains to be seen if the club are able to deliver or not. Rumours have suggested that the club are still on the lookout for another signing. On the other hand, players like Albian Ajeti and James McCarthy do not have a role in the team and could be helped by moves away.

Let’s see how things play out over the next couple of days. The good thing is, we will not have to wait too long to find out what is going to happen. 48 hours. Tick Tock!
