Celtic have quite a few top quality options up front at this point of time. Kyogo arrived from Vissel Kobe last summer and has been an absolute superstar, playing a key part in the Premiership triumph and scoring a League Cup-winning brace. On the other hand, Giorgos Giakoumakis has been superb since the second half of the previous season and deserves to be playing more often than he is at the moment.

We saw both Kyogo and Giakoumakis find the back of the net against Kilmarnock. And while the two have had their fair share of injury problems, Daizen Maeda is another player capable of playing as a forward, although he has started from the left most often.

One player who was signed in January but does not seem to have much chance of breaking into the Celtic team anytime soon is Johnny Kenny. The former Sligo Rovers star did impress during pre-season though.

And as reported by the Scottish Daily Express, Carlisle United are interested in Kenny. On the other hand, Celtic are believed to be looking at options to give him first-team exposure.

Celtic striker is drawing interest from English club

Kenny seems to have a lot of potential, especially after seeing him in pre-season, but at the moment, it is hard to see the 19-year-old getting much first-team action if he stays on at Celtic.

He was playing regular first-team football while with Sligo Rovers though. As a result, it might be a good idea to send him out on loan, in order to get some minutes in the tank as well as experience.

Carlisle United could actually be a good option for Kenny. They play in the English League Two and one would expect the Celtic youngster to get some decent playing time, if he ended up there on loan this season.
